Technology Infrastructure Plan
PUSD has committed to invest in technology upgrades to provide 21st century learning tools for teachers and students, improve communication and alleviate administrative burdens for teachers and principals. A district-wide telecommunications system has been implemented, with the installation of new telephones throughout the district. The new system offers greater reliability, a comprehensive district directory and emergency notification capabilities.
Student Information System
PUSD has implemented Aeries, a new student information system that will provide easier access to student records for administrators, staff and families, streamline scheduling, and support more efficient registration and enrollment processes.
Student Assessment
PUSD has implemented Data Director district-wide, providing a valuable tool for teachers to review student progress and develop individualized instruction plans to provide both acceleration and intervention to students as needed.
Information Technology Work Group
The IT Work Group was created to facilitate the District's efforts to harness the power of technology to provide effective communication tools, ensure accurate data and utilize technology to increase powerful classroom instruction. Members of the technology group include representatives of some of Pasadena's most prestigious firms:
