the more things you will know.
The more that you learn,

PUSD Libraries
Accessing, using, and analyzing information competently in print and electronic formats is essential for success in college and careers. School libraries contribute to improved student achievement by providing instructional materials that enhance classroom curriculum.
The libraries of the Pasadena Unified School District are media centers filled with books, magazines, DVDs, online databases, and other resources. In our school libraries, students actively learn to connect with ideas, learn to make informed decision, use information technologies, and, most of all, develop a love of reading. Most of our school libraries extend their hours of operation beyond the school day so that students can explore, research, and continue learning.
School libraries are among the most architecturally beautiful rooms on our campuses. Some, like the Eliot Middle School library, have outdoor reading gardens where students and teachers can meet and discuss books.
Staffed by credentialed school librarians who play key roles in promoting both information literacy and reading for information and inspiration, PUSD libraries engage students meaningfully with information that matters in the real world.
